Tom Skeen was born and raised in the valleys between the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers of St. Louis, MO. His passion for photography started when he was young watching his father photograph the building of the St. Louis Gateway Arch in 1963. Since then the Arch has been a favorite subject.
Other points of interest in St. Louis and Missouri that have captured his imagination include the few remaining covered bridges in Missouri, flowers and plants in the world renowned Missouri Botanical Garden, and the animals of the famous St. Louis Zoo.
Tom has a particular talent for photographing weddings, awards dinners and other celebratory events. His twenty years of experience produce photographs that are appreciated for their traditional style, clarity and skill in capturing just the right moments.
